Here is your Max Fitness Schedule for the week! This week brought back our favorite Child Yoga class {Monday 5:30-6:30pm}. Can't wait to see you & your little ones there!

Max Kids Yoga Monday May 22nd at 5:30pm Children deal with many distractions, temptations, and overstimulation. Yoga helps kids to: -Develop body awareness -Learn how to use their bodies in a healthy way -Manage stress through breathing, awareness, meditation and healthy movement -Build concentration -Have an alternative to tuning out through constant attachment to electronic devices Come bring a little namaste into their day, this Monday May 22nd at Max! Cost is $10 per child for members and $12 per child for non- members. Register at http://maxfitnesshb.com/schedule Ages 3-9 child care in available for younger kids. No drop off.

MAX FITNESS RECIPE OF THE WEEK! Vegetable Frittata Ingredients: • 1 tbsp. olive oil • 1 cup diced zucchini • ½ cup chopped red bell pepper • 1 tbsp. fresh thyme • ½ tsp salt, divided • ¼ tsp. fresh ground pepper, divided • 2 cloves garlic, minced • ½ cup chopped seeded tomato • 9 large eggs or can use egg whites Directions: 1. Heat olive oil in a 10-inch nonstick broiler proof skillet over medium heat. Add zucchini, bell pepper, onion, thyme, ¼ tsp. salt, 1/8 tsp. black pepper, and garlic. Cover and cook 7 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in tomato. Cook uncovered, for 5 minutes or until liquid evaporates. 2. Combine eggs, remaining ¼ tsp. salt and remaining 1/8 tsp. black pepper in a medium bowl; stir with a whisk until frothy. Pour egg mixture into pan over vegetables, stirring gently. Cover reduce heat, and cook 15 minutes or until almost set in the center. 3. Preheat broiler. 4. Broil frittata 3 minutes or until set. Invert onto a serving platter; cut into 8 wedges.

Meet Sylvia. Approaching a milestone birthday, she wanted to feel better. "I love to get my workout in before work and it boosts my day, it's my self affirming action. It brightens my mood. Since coming consistently I feel stronger, firmer, and I'm constantly being challenged so I feel stronger and stronger. I have an extra spring in my step. And I get tons of compliments, which is great considering I just turned 50!" Don't listen to the voice in your head saying you can't do it. Just listen to Sylvia, and come see us at MAX!
